LILAH Shortbread

  • 225 g Flour

  • 75 g Corn or Potato starch

  • 60 g Icing sugar

  • 125 g Butter in pieces

  • 100 ml LILAH    

  • ½ tsp Salt

  • Sugar powder to sprinkle

  1. Mix flour, starch, icing sugar and salt. Add the butter and petri in order to obtain a granular mass.

  2. Add LILAH and pour into a kneading hook robot. Let knead at low speed to obtain a paste. Form a ball and let stand covered for one hour in the cool.

  3. Form a square of 8mm thick between 2 parchment papers using a roller. divide into several pieces of about 7cm with a knife or cookie cutter.

  4. Place on the plate covered with parchment paper, 2 cm apart. Prick the biscuits with a toothpick. Brush finely with water and sprinkle with sugar.

  5. Bake in the middle of the preheated oven at 200°C for 15 minutes and allow to cool on the plate.
