LILAH Apple Crumble 

  • 4 Apples

  • 100 ml Lemon Juice

  • 375 g Flour

  • 225 g Sugar

  • 250 g Butter or margarine

  • 2 Oeufs moyens

  • 15 g Vanilla sugar

  • 150 ml LILAH

  • 100 g Natural yogurt

  • 50 g Ground almonds

  • 25 g Wheat semolina

  • Butter for the mold

  • Icing sugar

  1. Peel the apples and cut in 8. remove the seeds and simmer in the lemon juice for about 3 minutes.

  2. For the crumble dough mix 175 g of sugar and flour, reserving 2 tbsp. Add melted butter and knead with a robot until crumbles. spread the rest of the flour over and shake the whole.

  3. Beat the egg whites with the vanilla sugar until stiff.

  4. Mix the egg yolks with LILAH, yogurt, remaining sugar, almonds and wheat semolina. gently fold in the beaten egg whites.

  5. Butter a mold with hinges Ø 24 cm, fill half of the crumbles into the bottom and press firmly. Pour in the yogurt first, then spread out the apples and finish with the rest of the crumbles on top.

  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 50 min.

  7. Sprinkle with icing sugar before serving.
